About Us

Urbano Quinto, Andy Warhol, Halston and Bianca Jagger from the book Studio 54
The letter U represents a sort of dedication by Jean-Michel Basquiat to Urbano Quinto present on the front or back of some works, sometimes even hidden with UV marker visible only with blue light. An example with this type of dedication was exposed in the solo exhibition held at the Kestner-Gesellschaft Gallery in Hannover, Germany in 1989. In this work, as in other very rare drawings, is also mentioned in the writings the name Quinto.
